The Untired Me story

Hello!
I'm Katherine, an ex-bedtime procrastinator and the creator of the Untired Me programme.
In my normal life, I’m a freelance copywriter and mum of two who lives near the sea in Sussex, England. Until 2022, I was also a terrible bedtime procrastinator, and always had been. I’d tried countless times to change my habit, but could never stick to it.
I got to the point where I was sick of feeling tired all the time, and I was starting to wonder who the real, well-slept version of me even was!
So, in January 2022, I made a single New Year’s resolution: to fix my bedtimes.
I decided that this time, I wouldn’t just try harder; I’d focus on developing a habit I could really stick to. I have a degree in psychology, so I treated it a bit like an experiment: testing to see what worked for me, and what didn’t. At the end of each week, I’d review, redesign and test it all over again.
It was fun!
And more importantly, it worked. I was going to bed earlier and getting more sleep.
And I felt so much better: More motivated. More in control. More awake.
I also felt inspired. Because I realised that if this process worked for me, it could work for other bedtime procrastinators. So, I got to work, researching sleep, reward, habit creation and, of course, bedtime procrastination.
I combined these with my own experience, and the Untired Me programme was born.

Getting ready
In summer 2024, I joined the LEAP business start-up programme, run by a company called EDEAL. They helped me turn the Untired Me concept into a fully-fledged business plan, and I was even selected as a finalist to go to their Dragon’s Den (based on the TV show, of course!) to present the Untired Me concept to four LEAP judges. I didn’t win, but it was still a good experience. (This pic was taken at the awards night - it was slightly terrifying!)

Testing
In the first half of 2025, I recruited bedtime procrastinators from all over the world to try out the Untired Me programme. There were lots of really positive comments (thank goodness!), and I used their feedback to make some final improvements, ready for launch.

Time to launch!
Finally, after over three years, I'm thrilled to say the Untired Me programme has gone live. Now, the hard work really begins, as I navigate the crazy world of digital marketing and social media to get Untired Me out there and, hopefully, help more bedtime procrastinators change the habit for good!
Come and say hello!
