The Untired Me story

I’m Katherine, Founder of Untired Me.
If you’d spoken to me a few years ago, I might have told you that I always went to bed late – and I always had done. As a teenager, in my 20s…even when I had children. I was often shattered during the day, but I just couldn’t seem to change – it drove me crazy.
Then, in 2022, a friend recommended a book called ‘Why We Sleep’ by Matthew Walker, which describes why sleep is so important. It was super-motivating, but still, after a few nights, I was back to my old ways. That’s when I realised: my issue wasn’t motivation; it was habit.
That ‘aha’ moment marked the start of a journey that has led all the way to the creation of this website. Having spent months learning how to rewire my own bedtime procrastination habit, I realised there were millions of other bedtime procrastinators out there who also needed help. There was almost nothing available, so I created the Untired Me programme.
Now, I’m on a mission to help bedtime procrastinators around the world to break the habit, rewire their bedtimes and get the sleep they need to thrive.
It’s still early days. Time and budget are v limited. But having found a way to go to bed on time and get more sleep myself, I’m determined to help other bedtime procrastinators to do the same.
